As the days get shorter and the leaves start their spectacular show, there’s a buzz of excitement at the Ricky Community Garden! We’re all gearing up for the Sustainable Three Rivers group’s fantastic Harvest & Autumn Workshop happening on Sunday, September 28th, from 11 am to 1 pm. And guess what? It’s going to be packed with free goodies and fantastic learning opportunities! Everyone from the Three Rivers District is welcome.

First up, it’s harvest time, and that means firstly helping with the harvest and then FREE fruit and veggies to take home straight from the garden! How amazing is that? Just remember to bring your own secateurs, gardening gloves, and a bag (if you have them handy) to gather your delicious haul. Imagine cooking up a storm with fresh, locally grown produce!

But it’s not just about taking – it’s about sharing too! If you’ve been busy nurturing your own garden and have more fruit and veg than you can eat, please bring it along to share with the community. It’s a wonderful way to connect with fellow green-fingered enthusiasts and swap tips and perhaps a few recipes too!

Then, for all you budding gardeners and curious minds, there’s a special Seed Workshop with Lynda from 11:15 am to 11:45 am. Lynda will be sharing her wisdom on how to gather, store, and sow seeds, which is absolutely essential for next year’s bounty. Plus, you’ll get to take home some free packets of seeds to get you started!

We look forward to you joining us at the Ricky Community Garden, Northway, WD3 1RL or check out all the details on the website HERE
