The WildLife Conservation Film Festival: Official Selection!!

This latest selection of our Antarctica documentary film for The WildLife Conservation Film Festival is a significant achievement, as it underscores the critical message of conservation we aim to convey.

The festival’s focus on wildlife conservation aligns perfectly with the film’s mission to raise awareness about the environmental challenges facing the region, from climate change to wildlife preservation. Being part of this festival amplifies our film’s impact, fostering important conversations and inspiring action to protect one of the planet’s last untouched frontiers.

About The WildLife Conservation Film Festival

This prestigious platform brings together filmmakers, scientists, conservationists, and wildlife advocates from around the world, providing an opportunity to showcase the unique beauty and fragile ecosystems of Antarctica to a global audience. As such, being selected is an honour, that I know Bruno Zaugg, Design-Factory GmbH, the film producer and director, and I share considerable excitement about.

Bruno has expertly and sensitively created this documentary, showcasing my passion for this region of the planet, especially my passion for penguins, the challenges the wildlife faces through the accelerated climate change and some simple steps we can all take to reduce our negative effect on the planet.

The WildLife Conservation Film Festival is highly respected for its dedication to raising awareness about global conservation issues through the powerful medium of film. It attracts filmmakers, activists, and conservationists from all over the world, providing a platform for stories that highlight the urgency of preserving biodiversity and protecting endangered species. What sets the festival apart is its commitment to not only showcasing visually stunning films but also promoting those that inspire real-world action toward environmental sustainability.

This 14th annual event and screenings will take place between 24th and 27th October, with 100 selections and 12 prizes available. Winners of the festival can expect international recognition, access to influential networks of conservationists and filmmakers, and opportunities for broader distribution of their work. Moreover, winning films often lead to increased visibility and funding for future projects, further advancing the cause of wildlife protection.
